Amor Fati

Amor Fati translates from the Latin as "Love of Fate". It means to accept our life with all its variables, to love all its aspects and corners, including the difficulties of trials, because they are also part of our being and contribute to our growth and development. Everything has a reason and a higher plan. The concept of Amor Fati was first introduced by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. He encourages us to accept everything that happens to us in life, whether good or bad, and to see it as an essential part of our personal journey. Accepting this concept leads to inner peace and calm and encourages gratitude for successes and struggles.

The Amor Fati collection is about how everyone can be tested, everyone can get lost in the dark forest, but inner strength and a personal compass can help even the lost find their way out. And that with inner strength and love in the heart, even the more challenging phases of destiny can be overcome.

Symbolically, Amor Fati relies on several powerful symbols. The most important is the moth. At first glance, few see beauty in the moth, as well as in life's difficult situations. It is only on closer inspection that one can glimpse the moth's elusive grace and power. "The moth always seeks its way out of the darkness to the light, relentlessly and relentlessly. The light gives it direction. It guides us back to the right path, especially in moments when we have some big decision to make," says Janja Prokić.

The moth is a nocturnal creature that moves through the darkness with ease. It has a sixth sense and an instinct with which it can only sense and not need to see. The moth thus brings the realization of how important it is to trust your inner wisdom and intuition.

Another strong symbol in the Amor Fati collection is the forest. "In many myths and fairy tales, the forest is a place of transformation, where the heroes go through trials and this leads to personal growth. The forest can symbolise a spiritual or psychological journey where the individual changes and develops. Many cultures perceive forests as places of high spiritual energy," says Janja.

The main stones of the collection are aquamarine and rose quartz. Both gemstones are associated with spiritual growth and deepening intuition, with a sense of calm and balance. Aquamarine used to be the talisman of sailors who believed it protected them on their journey from the dangers of the sea. "The stone is associated with courage and protection, especially when overcoming danger. It can clarify thoughts and bring calm and peace. It aids the ability to express oneself, to allow oneself to experience and thus return to one's authenticity," says Janja. In addition to aquamarine, rose quartz is important in the Amor Fati collection. It can open the heart, receive and express love. It is strongly associated with emotional healing. "It can soothe pain and sadness, heal old wounds. It helps to accept ourselves as we are," adds the jeweller.

All stones used have certificates of authenticity from internationally recognized gemological laboratories GIA, aquamarines in the originals are AAA quality.
